In the 8th year of the tradition, techfrederick once again brought Frederick technology-based companies together at Baker Park for a day of fun, friendly, and -- in line with this year's 80's theme -- TOTALLY AWESOME competition.
We caught up with the organization’s new Executive Director, Meghan Sweigart, to give us a rundown on this year’s games:
This year the participants and volunteers embraced the 80's theme with neon clothes, mullets, and workout routines. We had a DJ playing 80's music all day to keep the spirit and energy throughout the park. There were many first-time volunteers and participants, and we brought tech and non-tech business together for a day of fun, friendly competition and comradery.

The support and the warm spirit of competition have left us feeling immensely grateful. This event holds a special significance for us, and we were thrilled by the enthusiasm everyone displayed in their participation.
